Advisors of Gap HR

In HR, there’s plenty of jostling to be the leader of the pack.

And we’re the leader of ours – true specialists in HR for private member golf clubs.

But that doesn’t mean we ignore what’s going on in the wider HR world – we like to keep an eye on other HR firms, to understand what is and isn’t working for them.

Last week though, it was them keeping an eye on us.

A national HR company got in touch with us to ask for OUR factsheet on holiday pay for zero hours and casual working staff.

They’d attended our Zoom call on the subject (if you missed this, let me know and I’ll send you the recording), and then followed up to ask for the factsheet.

The person who asked?

The “Head of Advice” at a company that won the “Best Full-Service HR & Employment Advisory” award in 2019.

Is this another example of people outsourcing their work to “sub-contractors” while claiming all the glory?

If your HR company hasn’t given you a free Zoom call or factsheet on the new ruling in this complicated area of holiday pay, give us a call and you’ll get advice from the original source!
